This special on-of-a-kind treasure box was a collaboration between Chris Cerneticsh, a fabulous pastel painter and myself.

She painted the floral painting, then I embedded it between glass and created the class box and solder sculptures that finish the story.

In the solder lines you can view fleeting images of faeries from within the realm.  There is a trapped faerie, on the outside,  looking into the realm, dragonflies and butterflies create the story box.

This is an example of the style with more to come.  They can be found at the Stagecoach Gallery in Platte, SD.  Custom order one similar.  Each is a different size with a different theme..no 2 are alike.

Back and front covers are textural paintings and both are similar, with the front showing “Random” on the cover.  There are 3 signatures (30 pages plus extras) the weight is 50# suitable for drawing but not wet media unless you glue a couple of pages together.  Coptic stitch binds the book making the ability for a flat opening the most possible.
